I am using a combination of green light and red light. green while working and red when I wake up and before going to sleep. I read that green light therapy helps with migraines and headache. That is the reason why I am using that while I am working. lol
DefianceLuluParticipantLittle red, I guess it depends on what are you going to use it for.
For beginners I think I might suggest to use the red light therapy bulbs first to see the effect for them then upgrade to NIR lights.
DefianceLuluParticipantMarianne, can you suggest a good eye protection when using NIR light lamp?

September 24, 2020 at 4:28 pm in reply to: Do you have a time of the day when you use your infared light? #668MissOiParticipantI use mine anytime I have free time as I am always busy. Sometimes I forget about it during night time. But during day time as long as I have free time I will use my NIR light.
MissOiParticipantMiss LittleRed, if you think blue right is doing you good I suggest you to keep doing blue light therapy. However, based on your curiosity, just to feed it, why not try both? Or try red light for a couple of months and see if there will be optimal results than the blue light. Do not take me wrong I do not want you to be a human guinea pig, but that is just my suggestion.
MissOiParticipantYou girls rock. thank you for all the ideas. I like reading your experiences on this forum.
MarianneParticipantHi gals. Me, my husband and kids are all using red light as a night’s lamp. Kids are less grumpy when they wake up (you know kids) and less cranky because they need to wake up for online classes. My husband’s been more attentive in the morning as well. So I highly recommend for you guys to try it as a night lamp too!
MarianneParticipantHello Ozuna. Cute name. You are wondering what is RubyLux? RubyLux is an online store where I bought my red light bulbs and they also sell tons of product for light therapy. If you are interested, you can go ahead and check their website here

September 24, 2020 at 2:25 pm in reply to: Do you have a time of the day when you use your infared light? #662misspurpleParticipantI only use mine when going to sleep so my eyes are already shut when using it. Do you think I should still wear googles even if my eyes are already closed?
misspurpleParticipantHello Grace? eye protection for what and what’s its use?
littleredParticipantHello Bambi, I cannot seem to see the house rules. Please repost it so we can see it. Thank you and hope to hear from you.
littleredParticipantthis thread is a great read my dear ladies. Thank you so much. Makes me want to switch and at the same time try different colors of light as it may beneficial as well. Do you know what light is better for headaches or migraines?
littleredParticipantcatherine… thank you so much for answering. I was wondering what were the difference between the two. Do you think if I use both lights there will be a conflict or it will turn out better than I will expect? I am so sorry if I am asking way too much questions…
