It helps me sleep well, after using the red light I feel relaxed. That’s why mostly I am using it when I wake up and before going to bed as it helps me soothe my body. I guess that is why it is helping my immune system because I sleep better nowadays than those days that I am not using my red light. I just wish RubyLux can come up with something portable so when I travel for work I can bring it with me.

I use mine daily. I do not have strict schedule that I am following when using it. I just use it once for morning and before going to sleep. anytime of the day is alright. And there are no set rules on how much light to use. Red light therapy is generally considered safe and effective when used regularly.

My daughter has red light in her room that serves as her night light and it definitely helps her sleep deeper at night. I found out that red light supports the highest level of melatonin production, and I guess thats the secret to her deep sleep.

Hi mommyheart! I recommend placing a red light on either your bedroom or your bathroom. I actually have on in my bedroom and it works wonders! I placed one in my daughter’s room too

I have been using it daily as a skin care routine. I just started using it and as I searched it is safe to use red light daily even 2 to 3 times a day. Also, it responds well to multiple daily uses and using it more than once a day may bring you faster results. A red light therapy device does not harm the surface of your skin or the underlying tissue.

    tammy,

wow! just 14 days? I cannot wait to see results for me too. I’ve been using mine for just a week to lighten some dark spots and acne marks. Will red light also help lightening body scars?

    Thanks!

I have alopecia, but mostly I am using this to lighten my face scars, and I am just using this for a week now. I am noticing a few great effect with my hair strands. I will get back to you when @evelynjane after using it for a month of two and will tell you if it does great results.

Yes, my dog is old and a little frail. He became less anxious and is now in a better mood after sleeping with me inside my room where my red light is installed. However, I would suggest that the pets are a little farther away as they are more sensitive when it comes to lights.

I have body scars that I want to lighten. Some are a little deep. What do you think should I use to or is more effective for this type of healing process?

Hi grace peach, I am using my NIR as a part of skin care because I am prone to acne even at my age (sad to say) it helped me reduce acne marks. I also read a comment in this forum that kids can benefit with red light too. I am considering getting a new one for my kids’ room.

Hi drew, I noticed your comment about it being beneficial for kids too, can you tell me more about it? I have two kids and sharing your experience will help me decide if I should use the red light for my kids’ room as well. 🙂

I am using red light to heal my scars due to acne and as part of my skin care routine. It does help me with headaches too just like evelyn! I initially did not notice that it helps with headaches and body pain as I am not taking any medicine for it but as time goes by I feel energized and less pain. I am using my red light for 2 months now.
